Type of clip (Highlight your choice/s) performance / narrative / collage Concept for clip Explain what narrative/images the clip will contain	Our music video is a narrative about a nerdy boy wanting to date the popular girl. The clip will contain a story about how the boy starts off being nerdy but with the help of a friend he gets a makeover and gets the girl he likes in the end.
Message What message will your clip contain or what is its purpose? Style What look and feel will your clip have?	the message for our video is how even if your nerdy the girl could end up liking you in the end the feel we want to achieve with our video is a happy and bright music video
Technical codes Explain the ideas you have about camera work, transition devices, lighting, special effects, framing and composition	We are using Madis camera as we think it is better quality and produces better videos then the cameras the school provide us We use the rule of thirds a lot in our film as we believe that is what catches the audiences eye And we used natural light
Audio codes What is the song about and how do the lyrics relate to the visuals you have selected? Will you be adding an additional sound?	We have related the lyrics to the video very well as we are doing the video clip based on the song for example “with a sign on my back saying kick me” is one of the lyrics and we actually have the nerd with a sign on his back saying kick me
Pace What sort of pace does your song have and how will this be reflected and created in your clip? Written codes If you are using any written codes, what text will you use? What is its significance? Symbolic codes Will there be any symbols in your clip and what will they be? Will you repeat any images or use a motif? How will the symbolism you have used contribute to the message of your clip?	We have a pretty fast and jumpy beat so we tried as hard as we could to match the videos to the beat of the song No we are not using written codes For our symbolic codes we use marcels glasses so you can tell he’s a nerd and the popular girl is a cheerleader witch is what most popular girls are betrayed as We also have the cool guy in cool guy outfits
Key elements of mise-en-scene to be used Explain the settings needed and outline key props and costumes needed	For our setting we started off at the nerds house when he wakes up then we move to when he is walking down the street to school for the rest of the music video it is set at the school grounds
Appeal What things in your clip do you think will appeal to a youth audience?	I think the story line will have the audience intrigued and we are going to try make it as funny as we can so we hope the audience will laugh
